Founded in 1956, BGRIMM Machinery & Automation Technology Co., Ltd. is a limited liability company incorporating BGRIMM Research and Design Institute of Machinery. As a wholly owned subsidiary of BGRIMM Technology Group, a group company under the direct administration of SASAC. BGRIMM-MAT is one of the top players in the world ushering in new technology and equipment serving the industries of mining, mineral processing and metallurgy. We have the only State Key Laboratory of Mineral Processing, which represents the highest level in China. The company is the major research undertaker in National ERC for Comprehensive Utilization of Metallic Resources as well as National ERC for Clean Extraction and Energy Saving in Nonferrous Metallurgy. Ranking among Beijing High-tech Enterprises, the company also hosts Beijing Municipal Engineering Research Center for Efficient and Energy Saving Equipment for Mineral Processing and Metallurgy.

Up to the end of 2012, the company is staffed with 214 persons, among which there are 3 outstanding young and middle-aged experts at state level, 4 technological experts awarded special allowance by Chinese central government, and 3 professionals at the first or second level of the State Hundred – Thousand - Ten Thousand Talents Program as well as New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Program. Besides, there are 17 professors, 13 senior engineers, 34 engineers, with 4 persons with doctorate and 52 persons with master's degree.br

The company is eligible to award master’s degree on metallurgical engineering and mechanical engineering, the first-level disciplines. Out of the completed 45 R&D programs and 72 technological results, there are 18 items at the state level, over 60 items at the provincial or ministerial level and a total of 43 patents.
