Separation Technology for Fertilizer Industry such as Phosphate, Potassium, etc

In 2005, Yunnan Phosphate Group Co., LTD Haikou Phosphate mine, with an annual production capacity of 2 million tons of phosphate concentrate, adopted 20 sets of KYF-50 flotation machines arranged horizontally. Dolomite and silicate type minerals were successfully separated with the content of MgO below 1.0% and phosphorus-magnesium ratio above 30, very conducive to the high-quality production of phosphate fertilizer.

Case Analysis 2

In 2010, a new 4.5 million tons project was set up in Yunnan Phosphate Group Co., LTD adopting 8 sets of KYF-130 flotation machines and KYZ4510 flotation columns in reverse flotation process. Dolomite was successfully separated conducive to improving the quality of phosphate fertilizer production. In the meantime, the application of column technology was adopted, reducing energy consumption by 30% and achieving significant economic profit.

Case Analysis 3

In 2010, 20 sets of KYF-50 flotation machines were adopted in Saudi MA”ADEN Apatite Concentrator, accomplishing an annual processing capacity of 12.5 million tons and effectively separating large particle impurities. The technological and economic indexes even exceeded the design target.

Case Analysis 4

In 2006, 80 sets of KYF-50 flotation machines were applied in a 1.2 million tons potash fertilizer project in SDIC Xinjiang Lop Nur Sylvite Co., Ltd. Thanks to the innovative development of special and large-scale flotation machine, some technical problems were solved, such as large feeding particle of the brine sylvite at 2-3mm, viscous saturated solution, difficulty in air dispersion, high foam production rate and easy crystallization of sylvite particles, with good technical-economic indicators obtained.
