Application Scenarios

The BFVS flotation froth image optimization control system designed by BGRIMM Machinery & Automation Technology Co., Ltd. which is mainly composed of three parts: froth image acquisition device, image processing workstation and flotation optimization control software. The system can be used in conjunction with a series of external inflation flotation cell and flotation columns.

The froth image acquisition device is located directly above the overflow lip of the flotation cell. The continuous overflow froth frame image is transmitted to the image processing workstation through a color high-speed camera, and the froth image processing algorithm is used to detect the dynamic and static characteristics parameters such as the velocity and direction of the flotation froth, the color& size of the bubble and the stability of the bubble, and then iterate the information into the flotation optimization control model. Then adjusting the flotation cell level, aeration and flotation reagent automatically, which is used to control the froth velocity and flotation reagent. Our goal is to effectively stabilize the concentration grade and maximize mineral recovery at the same time, and then it can maximize the benefits for customers.
