HM Magnetic Liner

Introduction

Magnetic liner is a kind of new liners which applied for metal mines in the field of ordinary horizontal ball mills. Through magnetic force, an effective protective layer can be formed on the surface of the magnetic liner. The layer consists of steel media and ferromagnetic minerals. It can prevent the barrel of the ball mill and the magnetic liner from being impacted and worn directly by the steel media and slurry. The service life of magnetic liner is 4-6 times longer than the manganese steel liner.
As the earliest research institute in magnetic liner, BGRIMM-MAT has strong technical strength and rich experience. And a national magnetic material engineering technology research center was set up in BGRIMM, so we have excellent ability in research and design of magnetic materials.

Performance Characteristics

Long service life, 4-6 times as long as high manganese steel liner.
Low cost of maintenance, only 25%-40% of high manganese steel liner.
Small size of per unit liner. Easy to be fixed without bolts.
Few maintenance. Improve the mill's working rate by 3%-4%.
Lighter mass which decrease the load of mill, thus the power consumption could be reduced by 4%-7%.
Thin thickness result in increasing of mill volume and its capacity.
Avoid pulp leaking because of none bolt holes in the mill tank, then the mill tank and gear can work for longer time.
Decrease the noise because the ferromagnetic minerals adhering to the liner can buffer the shock.
