Technology for Large-scale Double-groove Mixing and Grinding with High Intensity

Case Analysis

GJM - 10 large-scale double-groove mixing mill was successfully tested in Pingshuo Kaolin Plant in Shanxi Province. Featuring large processing capacity and reliable operation, the equipment replaced dozens of existing MB (P) 80 strippers used in the plant and became the benchmark equipment in the industry. Kaolin material are crushed by jaw crusher, ground to -45μm by Ramon, mixed with water and sodium hexametaphosphate dispersing agent, and finally prepared into slurry with 45% concentration which will be delivered to mixing mill. The particle size of the final product is rough 90% at -2μm, which equals to the indexes of MB (P) 80 strippers in two series with each series having 11 sets (10 sets in service and 1 standby). It indicates that one set of GJM-10 performs as equivalence to 10 sets of MB(P)-80 strippers.
